Meeting Scheduled for Business Community to Learn about Upper Harbor Terminal Redevelopment

In recognition that many business and property owners find it difficult to attend an evening meeting to learn about the Upper Harbor Terminal redevelopment, a special day-time meeting has been scheduled:

Thursday, August 24, 2017

7:30 am to 9 am

EMERGE Career & Technology Center, Phillips Room

1834 Emerson Ave. N., Minneapolis, MN  55411

Upper River Development - What's next for the Upper Harbor Terminal Site?

One of the most significant re-developments in decades for the Upper River will be coming to the City-owned Upper Harbor Terminal site. This is a rare opportunity for the City, Park Board, selected master development team and community to re-envision a new future for 48 acres of riverfront land with about a mile of shoreline.

This August 24 event is being held for businesses near the river in North and Northeast Minneapolis. If you’re a business representative (or own business property), this is your opportunity to learn more about the development and how it may impact your business/property, as well as find out how to participate in the planning process as it unfolds.

Join us! In the meantime, if you want to learn more about the site and planning process and/or sign up for ongoing email updates, visit

Doors open at 7:30 am. The meeting will kick off at 8 am and end promptly at 9 am.

Register at:  Eventbrite

A light breakfast will be provided. The event is free and open to the public. For directions and parking information.

Sponsored by the City of Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and the Minneapolis Riverfront Partnership, with support from CenterPoint Energy
