The Upper Harbor Terminal housing meeting that unfortunately was cancelled due to a power outage has been re-scheduled to:
Thursday, November 30
6:30 – 8:30 pm
Park Board headquarters, 2117 W. River Road N., second floor Board Room
The general goal of this meeting will be to gather community input on potential housing and small business components of the plan. From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., a panel will discuss challenges, issues and successes in affordable and market-rate housing and small business in North Minneapolis. The panel will be moderated by Shauen Pearce-Lassiter (Greater Minneapolis) and will include Tim Baylor (Pinnacle Management), Angie Skildum (City of Minneapolis), Cora McCorvey (former CEO of MPHA) and Sarah Larson (Landon Group). After a break, the second half of the evening will include a presentation by THOR Development of its development program concept for housing on the UHT site and an opportunity for Q & A and input. Both portions of the evening are open to the public and will be family-friendly. Refreshments will be provided.
If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for GovDelivery email updates on the UHT web site or watch for social media notices on Facebook, Twitter and NextDoor, as meetings may need to be adjusted. Information on the webpage and meeting notices also will provide more details about specific meetings and topics.
