In addition to the four community meetings announced recently, a series of public open hour sessions now has been scheduled to provide additional community input opportunities. Staff will be available at each of these sessions to outline the draft redevelopment plan for the Upper Harbor Terminal site, answer questions and gather input. Stop by for a snack along with a chance to learn about the project and help shape it with your input!
The open hour sessions will be held:
Monday, August 20, 4:00 – 6:00 pm; at Good Deal Oriental Foods, 1800 Lowry Ave. N.
Tuesday, August 21, 1:00 – 3:00 pm; at Webber Park Library, 4440 Humboldt Ave. N.
Wednesday, August 22, 1:00 – 3:00 pm; at Serendripity Spot, 3300 Lyndale Ave. N.
Staff also will be available at a Hawthorne Eco-Village (617 Lowry Ave. N.) event on Wednesday, August 22, 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
Information about the four community meetings in August and September is available here.
Informational materials and an on-line survey will be posted on the project website about mid-August. The website also will contain information about any meeting updates and additional community engagement opportunities as they are scheduled.
If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for GovDelivery email updates on the UHT web site or watch for social media notices on Facebook, Twitter and NextDoor, as meetings may need to be adjusted. Information on the webpage and meeting notices also will provide more details about specific meetings and topics.
Summaries of the input received at the community meetings will be posted here. (Note: It can take a while to compile the input and prepare it to be posted.)
